The 2016 London Motor Show officially opens its doors to the public tomorrow. Although most of us will be required to wait until then, the press got to experience the wonders that the event has to offer this morning.
With many intriguing vehicles scheduled to make an appearance over the weekend, it’s shaping up to be a great event.
One vehicle that made quite an impression is the new Vuhl 05. Created by Mexico-based Vuhl, the sports car comes with great power and offers impressive performance.
Let’s begin by looking at the styling. It’s one of the car’s strongest features and differentiates it from other vehicles currently on the market.
Inspired by race cars, the 05 offers a perfect mix of sportiness, elegance and luxury. It doesn’t have any doors, which the company claims adds to the race car theme.
Vuhl’s very own Iker Echeverria together with the Esiete design company are responsible for the car’s design. By thinking outside the box and offering something that’s likely to appeal to fans of both sports and race cars, Vuhl has done what many manufacturers struggle with the most – it created something original.
Fitted with Ford’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ecoboost engine, the 05 is capable of producing a staggering 295bph. On top of that, it has a top speed of over 150mph and can go from 0 to 60mph in a mere 3.5 seconds.
It’s a powerful vehicle that’s guaranteed to appeal to those looking for something a little more extravagant and unique.
The 05 is currently on display at the London Motor Show, which opens its door to the public. If you want to catch a glimpse of the vehicle then, you should probably get your tickets now before they’re all gone.
The Vuhl 05 is available to buy now in the UK, with prices starting at £59,995.
